SLEEP APNEA and SNORING

SLEEP APNEA is a common disorder among the patients who complain SNORING. The patient feels strong sleepiness during daytime even after enough hours of sleep because of apnea or hypopnea caused by nasal obstruction, narrow airway of obesity, central nervous system disorder, etc. which induce insufficient oxygen supply. It can be the cause of sudden death.

We have Home-Use Apno-Monitor by which we can make a diagnosis of SLEEP APNEA. Home-Use Apno-Monitor is very easy to use. You can use it in your bed at home, with sensors of your breath of mouth/nose and saturation of oxygen in your blood.

Prescription of CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway pressure) is available for the treatment of sleep apnea.

HEARING AIDS

HEARING AIDS are very effective tools for patients of hearing loss when they are adjusted rightly in terms of audiograms of patients. In our clinic, application of HEARING AIDS. will be discussed carefully for each patient in terms of his/her hearing ability and the kind of hearing loss (sensory/conductive).

SWALLOWING DISORDER

SWALLOWING DISORDER is frequently found among older people. We make a diagnose and evaluate the severity of this disorder mainly by laryngeal fiberscopic findings. We give information of appropriate kinds of foods and how to take it:, which make definitely lower the risk of aspiration and make better the quality of life.

GASTRO-ESOPHAGUS REFLUX DISEASE (GERD)

GASTRO-ESOPHAGUS REFLUX DISEASE (GERD) is a very common disease, which symptoms includes laryngeal discomfortability, sustained cough, burning sensation, hoarseness, etc.. GERD can be diagnosed by laryngeal fiberscopic findings and diagnostic treatment by Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs), which are very effective.
